Eric Erlandson is claiming that Kurt had a full album worth of demo recordings at the time of his death. He says that the recordings are some of Kurts best work.

Although he is not in control of the demo’s he says it would be shame if only a few people ever hear the songs.

Buch Vig has Tweeted that he just finished up recording with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.

The last 24 hours have been surreal! Had a great gig at the El Rey last night, and spent today recording with Dave, Krist and special guest! — Butch Vig‏ @butchvig

No idea what they are recording, but Loudwire seems to think it could be the Documentary Dave is working on about “Sound City Studios where ‘Nevermind’ and classics like Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’ were recorded”.

What ever it is, lets hope it gets released in some form.

Rather than think of the negative’s of this day lets all listen to Nirvana all day.
